How to Use for Vibrant Results:
Important: Pravana Vivids are direct dyes that work best on pre-lightened hair.
For maximum vibrancy, hair should be lifted to a Level 9 or 10 blonde prior to application.
Always perform a strand test and a patch test 48 hours beforehand.
Wear appropriate gloves.

Preparation (Pre-Lightening): For the most vibrant results, pre-lighten hair to the appropriate level (Level 9-10 recommended). Shampoo and completely dry the hair before proceeding.

Application: Dispense the Pravana ChromaSilk Vivids Garnet directly from the 90ML tube into a non-metallic bowl.
Do not mix with developer. Apply the colour evenly to clean, dry hair, ensuring complete saturation. -
Processing: Process for 20 to 30 minutes at room temperature.

Rinsing: Rinse the hair thoroughly with cold water until the water runs clear.
For best results and to prevent colour transfer, rinse the hair separately in a basin. -
Aftercare: Condition hair (preferably with a colour-safe conditioner) and style as desired. Use cold water and colour-safe products to maintain longevity.

Mixing/Customising Colours:
Vivids Locked-In can be intermixed to create any colour imaginable. Due to the special pigments used, Locked-In colours need to be mixed thoroughly in the bowl.
Mix the colours together until you see that there is no separation of the colours and a uniform colour is achieved.
To lighten or pastel any of the Vivids Locked-In colours, use Pravana’s Vivids Clear. Add Vivids Locked-In colour of your choice to Vivids Clear until the colour desired is achieved.
Vivids Locked-In may be intermixed with the other Vivids Collection colours, but the colour created may transfer.

Directions:
1. Pre-lighten hair to the desired level. For purity of Locked-In colour, follow the chart provided and pre-lighten hair to the level indicated for each shade. If hair is lightened beyond the recommended guideline, colour transfer may occur.
2. Before applying Locked-In, hair must be freshly shampooed and completely dried.
3. Taking a sections apply colour directly to the hair, applying section-by-section to ensure complete and even coverage. No developer is needed.
4. Allow to process for 20-30 minutes at room temperature. Once the processing is complete, lightly shampoo with Vivids Colour Protect and rinse with cool water until the water runs clear.
Apply Vivids Colour Protect Conditioner and rinse. Style as desired.
*When lifting hair more than 3 levels we recommend performing a Silk Degrees Treatment after the lightening process, but before the Vivids Application.
